Hearing Instrument Specialist
Licensed by the state of Georgia, Trenton Simms joined Precision Hearing Care in 2017. He is originally from Wheeling, WV and attended West Virginia University. In 2017, he moved to Lizella, GA, where he currently resides. Trenton’s journey to assist the hearing impaired was influenced by a close friend who worked in the hearing industry. His favorite part of being a Hearing Instrument Specialist is helping people get a part of their life back while providing exceptional patient care. He strives to provide the best care possible. Outside of work, Trenton enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family.
Carson Poppell
Hearing Aid Apprentice
Carson Poppell, originally from Jesup, GA joined Precision Hearing Care as a Hearing Aid Apprentice in 2023. He attended The College of Coastal Georgia and now currently resides in Winder, GA. What drew Carson to the hearing profession was that he always wanted to be in a position to help others. Seeing his patients smile and hearing the improvements to everyday life that they have experienced is what he enjoys most. Carson strives to provide excellent care and trustworthy support to all of his patients. Outside of work, Carson enjoys going to the golf course and attending Braves and UGA football games.
Stan McDaniel, BC-HIS
Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist
Stan McDaniel is an Audioprosthologist,board certified by the National Institute for Hearing Instrument Science. Stan attended Michigan State University and began working in the hearing aid industry in Athens, Georgia in 1974. He later moved to Gainesville, Georgia where he operated several Audibel offices in North Georgia.
Stan has served as President of the Georgia Society of Hearing Professionals as well as serving on the board of directors. He also served two terms on the ethics committee of the International Hearing Society.
In 2010, Stan was inducted into the Starkey-Audibel Hall of Fame for his service to the hearing-impaired community.
In 1994, Governor Zell Miller appointed Stan to the Georgia Hearing Aid Practitioners Licensing Board where he served two terms and was elected chairman of the board.
In his spare time, Stan enjoys camping and hiking in the North Georgia mountains and serving as a Shrine clown named Popcorn. There he has the privilege of cheering for young patients in the Shrine Children’s Hospital and also entertaining children of all ages at Shrine circuses, parades, and events.
